the honey lavender coffee is delicious and the service here is very good. Great local coffee spot
This is a beautiful shop and overall, its mission and community is a vibe you have to feel for yourself. I have had the pleasure of meeting the owner and hearing her knowledge and passion for the products she creates and sells is beautiful. Not to mention, black woman owned so a huge plus for me. I got the iced Honey Lavender Latte with oat milk and an iced peach sweet tea. Both were delicious and clean in flavor! I will definitely be back.
Just Add Honey is a black-owned gem tucked away along the Atlanta Beltline. They have some of the best tea in the city, classy service, and they now serve pastries from Alon's Bakery as well!! Right now, they're doing a Matcha Bar promo where you can DIY and taste different combinations of ingredients with your matcha. Don't miss out!
T and I were getting together for brunch and wanted to try somewhere new. Though I am a coffee lover, T lovessssssssssss tea. As such, she chose "Just Add Honey!" I had no idea that Just Add Honey even existed so I was excited to go. Just Add Honey sits in the Old Fourth Ward Area. It's in the back of the main area and is nestled off in the back corner. Upon arriving, the outside is very inviting. There is a patio area on each side of the door and one side has a flower wall which is perfect for selfies. As soon as I walked in, my eyes went wide. Vibrant ambiance Clean store Amazing staff The store is wall to wall tea and all things associated. There are multiple varieties which is ideal as any flavor desired is on site. Being a lover of sweet tea I decided to get a "Georgia Peach!" The "Georgia Peach" is a light brew that has a robust flavor but isn't heavy. I decided to get mine with heavy sweetener. As there are multiple sweetener options I let the cashier decide for me and she chose honey and I am happy she did. The honey was the right amount of sweetener and didn't overpower the natural tea flavor or splash of peach flavor. The location has a variety of art along the walls which catches your eye. It's as if each room of the establishment has its own theme and feel. From paintings to chalk drawings, to the simple clean line ashetic. Just Add Honey is perfect for taking a moment away from the hustle and bustle of the city while taking time to open your laptop, a book, or just catch up with a good friend. As I was trying to be good I didn't get any of the cookies. However, I can't wait to go back because the cookies look amazinggggggggggg. Tea and Cookies anyone???? Take a moment and unwind by paying a visit to Just Add Honey.
As summer winds down, it was refreshing to try the drink of the month--the Blue Wave Matcha! Available in a variety of sizes, this iced matcha features a blend of oat milk, green tea, and vanilla simple syrup. If I had to describe the taste, I'd say it reminds me of cereal milk--in the best way possible! The ambiance here captures the essence of a traditional tea house, with richly designed spaces. There are separate rooms where you can either dine or shop for products, and there's also a charming outdoor patio! Parking may be limited due to the establishment's proximity to the BeltLine. But there are public parking decks nearby! This establishment is charming, and I'm excited to try more of the drink selections and perhaps a light bite snack.
I decided to visit this tea shop on a Saturday morning, this location is located on the belt-line with parking in the back. They have a very nice tea selection with information regarding the benefits of the teas. Appears they host parties. They did have two teas to sample. This shop also has a small card selection of unique cards for purchase, local honey and honey from other states as well. I purchased the nettle tea and local honey for my allergies. To go I ordered the tea of the month "not so Irish tea" which is a Strawberry matcha tea, iced of course. This matcha was honestly so good. This location does not have indoor seating but plenty of seating outdoor. I would definitely recommend this place.
I have visited their previous lication at sweet auburn market and this was my first time sampling their teas at.thr beltline locatio. First up it's counter serve with outdoor and indoor seating. Teas start at 5$ and up based on size. And they have coffee beverages too. We sat outside and I loved their tea selections. You can choose the tea as base and add flavors like ginger ,lemongrass.and so on. They have honey and agave options too. One of the two ladies behind the counter was awesome And have me.suggestions. the other one not so much. But it's a great spot and.the owner is usually around if you have questions. I'll definitely make this my regular.
New favorite shop alert!!! How did I not know about this place?!? It's right off the belt line when walking north from Krog street market. (I don't know how else to explain the location). They have tons of loose teas to offer and not o ly do they line the shelves and you can smell them, they also list out ingredients and caffeine levels. So smart! You purchase the loose tea by the ounce, but you can also order sweet and hot tea while you are there. Oh and they do private tea parties!!
Lovely! My welcome was warm, the shop is Charming..and full of information so many teas. I want to try them all! The ladies working were kind and Informative. For 3 days before Christmas, they were busy. I had so many more questions but today was at the time. I noticed lots of people coming to pick up placed orders which I thought was interesting. Next time I come in, I'll be more prepared. My black coconut tea was made to perfection. I waited a few minutes. I also bought tea to take home. I'm gonna try the Good night.
I love this place! Everything from the cool monthly drinks, to the nice staff and even the indoor/outdoor spaces. It's located off of the Beltline. Has amazing teas and small bites. I go a few times a week. Each month they have a "Tea of the Month" and it's usually something cool. On this visit I tried the "Summer Blues" tea and loved it! Loved it so much that I bought the blend. They also have CBD teas. Great for anyone suffering from pain or an inability to sleep. I got it once and felt so at ease. Then I went and slept for four hours! Lol
